What one can learn from unreasonable/obtuse behavior

I spent much of today nursing a headache that feels somewhere in the middle of jet-lag and a hangover, brought about by behavior that I found to be unreasonable, obtuse and which ultimately ruined an day that I had pinned high hopes of being light and fun.

Sitting through this headache, even though the judgement of the series of incidents having been passed, doesn’t change the fact that it actually happened, and that ultimately, the only way for me to have and love such people in my life is to take it as 'one ear in , the other ear out’, and zooming out, the gift from these people is increasing tolerance, resilience, and the ability to shake off what is said to me, and go back into the self that is anchored within.

Note: This does not apply to children, or someone under the care of , or pupillage, or discipleship of such a person.
